Overview
When Fujifilm approached me about exploring how their soon to be released instax WIDE Evo could be used in the wild, I knew this was an opportunity to bring my storytelling full circle, as my photography career started developing film! My work has always been about connection, between people, place, and planet, so integrating a tactile, immediate medium like Instax into my process felt like an experiment in slowing down, embracing imperfection, and seeing nature through a different lens.

Collaborative approach & ideation
The brief was to shoot in a way that felt intuitive. As well as with an exploration of how we connect with nature and wildlife. How light shifts, how textures emerge, how storytelling unfolds with a hybrid camera in hand that mixes digital and film photography.
Fujifilm asked me to create three ideas of how to shoot the project and I headed north to the Arctic Circle. Hoping to capture orca that migrates north of Tromsø to an area called Skervøy in the Lynden Alps.
I was also heading to Iceland and so the narrative of exploring northern latitudes in midwinter became the North Star for the project.
Delivering full service production on the project from concept ideation, arranging the trip based on my knowledge of travelling in the area to capturing storytelling photo and video and create with the instax WIDE Evo.

Deliverables
The deliverables for the instax project involved creating a vibrant collection of images that beautifully showcased the camera’s unique filters, creative effects and impressive macro capabilities, all deeply rooted in authentic nature connection. Complementing this visual storytelling, I produced engaging content tailored specifically for Instagram, including a dynamic reel and thoughtfully curated carousel posts, strategically timed to align with the camera’s exciting launch. The core intention was to authentically reflect my unique way of seeing the world, effortlessly blending product exploration with genuine creativity, making this project an absolute joy to bring together.
