Co-creating transformation with Sarah Sea of Purpose: the power of liminal blue spaces

Blue spaces hold a unique power. Their liminality offers a bridge between the tangible and the unseen, grounding and expansive, familiar yet transformative. This alchemy is at the heart of Sarah, the visionary behind Sea of Purpose, whose work as a Blue Health Coach™️ empowers individuals and businesses to connect deeply with nature and unlock new possibilities with beautiful coastal photography. Through her innovative approach, Sarah brings people into these liminal spaces. Co-creating waves of transformation, blending the science of Blue Health™️ with playful, results-driven coaching.

In our coastal photography work together, we crafted a visual narrative that mirrors this philosophy. Using the natural metaphors of the coast to amplify her story. From the shimmering water of Walpole Bay in high summer to the wild grey skies of Botany Bay in midwinter. These seasonal shoots (click here for more seasonal storytelling magick) became a creative reflection of Sarah’s purpose. As well as her connection to the sea, Mamma N and the transformative spaces she holds.

The alchemy of blue liminal spaces: Walpole Bay tidal pool in summer

On a warm summer’s day, we found ourselves immersed in the tidal pool at Walpole Bay. The stillness of the water, juxtaposed with the vastness of the open sea, echoed the clarity and creativity that Blue Health™️ coaching unlocks. Shooting coastal photography in the shallows, with the gentle ripples lapping at our feet, and soaring above with the drone, we captured the unique perspective that blue liminal spaces offer where new ideas and possibilities flow freely.

This summer shoot became a metaphor for Sarah’s work: a balance of depth and lightness, connection and exploration. The water’s reflective quality amplified the essence of her coaching. Inviting her clients to step into their own liminal spaces with curiosity and openness.

The wild edges of Botany Bay in winter

Fast-forward to a wild winter morning, where the grey skies above Botany Bay painted a dramatic backdrop. As we strolled along the sand dunes we felt the chill of the onshore breeze. Nature became the perfect metaphor for transformation. The unpredictable weather, the raw beauty of the chalk cliffs, and the rhythmic crash of the waves mirrored the energy of stepping into unknown liminal spaces. This work and nature invites us, knowing it will be challenging yet deeply rewarding as you meet your wild edges.

This coastal photography brand shoot captured the duality of Sarah’s coaching. The grounded strength needed to navigate change and the expansive energy that comes from embracing the wild edges of life. The winter light, diffused by the clouds, added a softness to the visuals. Effectively, reflecting the nurturing yet powerful liminal spaces she holds for her clients.

Co-creating with nature: the liminal space of coastal photography

Working with Sarah to craft these visuals was a journey into the liminal blue spaces that define her work. Photography itself exists in a liminal space, capturing fleeting moments that bridge the seen and unseen. Through our collaboration, we harnessed the alchemy of the coast. Weaving the textures of water, light, and sky into a narrative that amplifies her voice and her purpose.

Sarah’s work thrives in these transitional spaces, where transformation is most potent. By aligning the visual storytelling with the natural rhythm of the seasons and the energy of the sea, the imagery becomes more than a reflection of her work. It becomes a metaphor for the waves of change she inspires in others.

The transformative power of Sarah’s work

Sarah’s approach to Blue Health™️ coaching goes beyond traditional methods. She blends scientific understanding with intuitive connection, creating liminal spaces where individuals and teams can explore, transform, and thrive. Her expertise as a B Corp mentor further amplifies her impact. In doing so, helping businesses align with purpose and sustainability while embracing innovation.

The coastal environments where Sarah’s work unfolds – blue spaces rich in energy and potential – remind us of our deep connection to nature. Through her coaching, these spaces become catalysts for clarity, creativity, and meaningful action. This coastal photography brand shoot reflects this perfectly.
