The drone discovery session is a one-to-one learning experience designed for photographers, filmmakers and creatives who are curious about using drones but want clarity before investing in equipment or training. This session allows you to explore what drones can offer creatively, ethically and practically, without pressure to buy or fly.
Rather than focusing on technical instruction alone, this session centres on understanding how aerial perspectives can meaningfully support your work, and whether drone photography or video is the right next step for you.
What we explore together
This is a guided discovery and demonstration session, not a formal flight training or CAA certification course.
I will handle all flying during the session. You observe, ask questions and explore possibilities while gaining a grounded understanding of drone use in real-world creative practice.
Together, we explore how drones function as a storytelling tool, from camera and video settings to ethical considerations and workflow integration.

I schedule one-to-one sessions a maximum of eight weeks in advance, and availability is limited to weekdays only. This allows sessions to stay responsive to the season we’re in and my availability.
Once I’ve reviewed your form, I’ll come back to you to:
- confirm what we can meaningfully cover together
- suggest a date, time and location aligned with conditions
- send over booking details, including contract and payment information
Your session is secured once the contract is signed and full payment is received.
This process ensures that each session is thoughtfully shaped, grounded in relationship and attuned to the moment we’ll be working within.
