Embrace the spirit of Mabon: Celebrate the seasons of gratitude and reflection
As winter approaches and the days grow shorter, I can’t help but feel tingles of excitement. It’s my favourite season after all. Mabon, the autumnal equinox, is just around the corner on 23 September, symbolising balance and transition as we embrace the second harvest.
It’s a beautiful reminder of the interconnectedness of all things and the importance of appreciating the cycles of nature.
As women in business, Mabon holds special significance as we reflect on our own journeys and express gratitude for the abundance we’ve created. It’s a time to celebrate your accomplishments and prepare yourself for the introspective period of winter, where you can plan and manifest your next big ideas.
Here are a few suggestions to help you fully embrace the spirit of Mabon:
Harvest celebrations
Gather with loved ones or women from your world to share food while celebrating the abundance of the harvest season. It’s an opportunity to connect, support each other, and share your successes. Perhaps reach out to your clients and celebrate the things they are harvesting.
Nature immersion
Take intentional breaks to immerse yourself in nature and witness the breathtaking beauty of the changing leaves. Reflect on the cycles of life and the impermanence that drives our growth. How can you breath nature immersion into your work this season?
Rituals and ceremonies
Create meaningful rituals using seasonal symbols, such as leaves or acorns. Light candles, meditate, or perform practices that bring clarity, inspiration and deeper connection to your purpose. How can these seasonal rituals support you in the work that you do?
Gratitude and reflection
Take some dedicated time to express gratitude for the journey you’ve been on. Reflect on the past year, celebrate your wins, and set intentions for the coming season. Use this opportunity to align your vision with the natural cycles of your business and the world of those you want to attract.

Embracing the spirit of Mabon allows us to deepen our connection with the natural world and honour the cycles of life and business. It’s a time to slow down, appreciate the beauty around us, and find balance within ourselves as we continue to grow and thrive.
Wishing you a magical Mabon filled with warmth, gratitude, and reflection. May this season inspire you to reach new heights in your journey.
