Gently unfurling from deep winter together as we approach Imbolc, we’ll gather at a secret location in Suffolk - East of England. As time in nature bathes us in its ethereal glow, we’ll embark on an afternoon of pure magick and connection, all distilled in radically authentic images to support you in the powerful work that you do.

Let's gather as we approach Imbolc
Together we’ll gather, share and participate in a transformative circle, setting creative intentions for the season ahead. Throughout our time together, I’ll be there to capture the pure magick that unfolds as you soak in this incredible collective energy, with an informal and intimate shoot wrapping around it all.
After the event, not only will you have made connections with other like-minded women, you’ll receive a collection of images ready for you to showcase the profound beauty of this experience to promote your group offerings, share your wisdom and make a powerful impact on those you’re here to serve.

As a nature lover, I'm honoured to co-host The Gathering Suffolk at a secret countryside retreat, it is magickal & I promise you won’t be disappointed. To help orient you, it will be in the East of England, in Suffolk near Halesworth.
Upon reserving your spot, you’ll receive full details of our secret meeting place, where we’ll meet and gather together at 12.15pm on Tues 30th Jan 2024.
What to expect:
- Enjoy a grounding welcome as we gather together.
- Enjoy some gentle time, warm drinks by the hearth, getting to know new souls who have gathered together.
- A relaxed brand shoot will flow, distilling moments with the collective and each person will have a solo moment for some individual portraits, all captured as we explore the cosy indoor spaces and beautiful countryside.
- Engage in mindful moments of pausing, grounding by nature
- Nourishing connection with other soul sisters, immersing yourself in this powerful collective energy.
- As the afternoon flows, we will gather to honour the gentle unfurling that Imbolc brings, expertly led by wonderful Katie Flaxman founder of Path Uncertain - grab your blankets and cosies as we gather by the hearth.
- Bring your crystals, your favourite mug & any other precious things you hold close during the circle.
- Katie will host a gently held circle offering a chance to connect to your own unique vibration through body, sound and story.
- As we approach the last light of the day, we'll adventure through woodland to gather round a fire, we'll play some soulful music and celebrate the return of the light and this midpoint between winter solstice and spring equinox.
- After The Gathering, you’ll receive a collection of radically authentic and empowering images that tell the story of seasonally aligned sisterhood, for you to use to step into the power of your visibility.
- But even more impactful are the nourishing connections that will root with yourself and others we gather with.

Following the sell out success of The Gathering, I can’t express my excitement to have been invited by the wonderful soul Katie Flaxman, founder of Path Uncertain, to bring The Gathering to Suffolk. A wordsmith with deep rooted nature connection who fuses her tender gaze on the world, with connection to self through gong, writing, silence and stillness.
Path Uncertain is a gradual unfolding, ever flowing, gently carving new paths from soft soil. That dark fertile richness that yule calls us inwards, to go deep and shed layers, to make space for new shoots of new ideas unfurling at Imbolc. I can't think of a more divine soul to guide us at this moment.

Katie Flaxman - Path Uncertain
Our circle guide
Katie Flaxman is a writer, gong practitioner, naturalist, wanderer, dreamer and lover of stories. She is a sensitive, wild introvert with a deep interest in vibrational healing, nature connection and the power of words to hold us on our unfolding journeys. Path Uncertain was crafted from the footsteps of her own uncertain path and a deep longing to create softer, warmer, gentler spaces to pause, rest, reflect and wonder.
As we gather in circle, we will be channelling the transitioning energies of Imbolc, embracing the untold gifts of deep winter as a foundation for the unfurling buds of spring. A gently held circle offering a chance to connect to your own unique vibration through body, sound and story.
About the secret location
Wild Grounds and Woodland
A place where magick is made
Seventeen acres of meadow and moat, once intensively farmed and now reclaimed by nature. Deer, heron, egret and hare have all made their way back to this land in the twenty years since farming ceased here. An ancient moat flows through its heart, bringing with it otter, kingfisher, great crested newt, and water vole. Orchard runs into meadow, whilst spinney is skirted by hedgerow. Secret swings hide under bushy oaks and trees yearn to be climbed and conversed with.
It is, at once, a peaceful, playful, wilful and seasonal landscape echoing the many landscapes within us.
Snug
Nestle into the snug, an intimate space warmed by woodburning stove and looking out onto moat and meadows beyond. Feel held by ancient beams holding hundreds of years of stories and yearning to hold yours.
Yoga Room
A minimalist, tranquil space with white walls, wooden floors and soft linen curtains. A place to meditate, move, write, circle and be at peace.
Treehouse
A hidden shelter comprised, almost wholly, of repurposed materials. Resting on a fallen tree and overhanging the ancient moat you’ll look out through glass doors onto layers of branches and feel deeply connected to the nature beyond.
Kitchen Table
A table is never a table but a host. It supports us whilst we nourish ourselves through creativity, food, play and connection. A reclaimed wooden table encircled by saved and salvaged chairs rests in the warmth of a farmhouse kitchen where all the greatest ideas are born or shared.
The Bell Tent
Set within the meadows here is the familiar shape of our five-metre bell tent. Layered with coir and rugs across the floor, the subtle movement of its canvas in the wind reminds us we are neither outside nor in.

I want to book but I don’t know anyone going, is that ok?
Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to book even if you don’t know anyone else attending the event. In fact, many participants will join on their own, seeking personal growth and connections within a supportive community.
The opening circle at the beginning of the event is designed so you can meet your fellow Gatherers and create a sense of connection and community. It’s a beautiful opportunity to meet like-minded women who are also embarking on their own journeys.
I encourage you to embrace this experience as a chance to connect, make new friends and share in the collective energy of the event. You’ll find that the gathering provides a warm and inclusive space where you can feel comfortable and supported.
How does the collective shoot work?
During the collective shoot, I’ll be capturing the essence of our time together in a natural and documentary style. As we ease into this time, everyone will be encouraged to follow their own pace and engage in activities that resonate with them. Whether you choose to step outside into the beautiful grounds, or simply pause and take in the beauty of being in this moment, I’ll be there to document these moments.
Throughout this freerange time, I’ll gently guide the group to capture connected images together and Katie will share more about living in a connected way with the land that holds us for this time together.
This will be the perfect opportunity for me to capture individual portraits, both close-ups and wider shots and we have beautiful indoor spaces as well as an abundance of nature, a brook, bridges, woodland and stunning gardens in deep phases of wintering.
When we gather for the circle by the hearth, I’ll photograph the entire circle as well as individual shots, capturing you in community with other souls.
As the circle closes, if weather allows we will cross the threshold into nature to gather around a fire in beautiful woodland. We’ll put on some tunes so we can move our bodies in celebration and welcoming the return of the light , and I’ll be there to capture these joyful moments.
My goal is to create a collection of photographs that authentically depict our shared experience and unique images of each individual within the collective. By blending candid and guided photography, my aim is to create a visual story that reflects the magic and connections formed during our special time together.
What if there is bad weather?
The joy of shooting in a seasonally aligned way, means we get to dance with the narrative the season brings. We've planned for The Gathering Suffolk to be weatherproof, with some incredible indoor spaces and if weather allows, we can embrace the beauty of the winter landscape outside.
Will I be able to use all the photos?
When you book, as part of the contract, you’ll be asked to confirm your consent for your image to be captured in the collective photos. This means that everyone involved will have the ability to use the photos you’re in for business purposes.
You will receive two galleries of images. 'The Gathering Suffolk' will contain the collective photos that can be used by all participants. Each person will also have their own mini-shoot gallery, exclusively for their personal use.
How many photos will there be?
You can expect 10 images from your mini session during the event and at least 100 images of The Gathering as it all unfolds.
Where will the event take place?
It’s really important for me to create a safe and intimate atmosphere for our event. After booking your ticket, you’ll receive a welcome email containing all the necessary details about the event location. I value the sense of exclusivity and connection that comes from keeping the location a secret, and it will only be shared with the souls who’ve chosen to gather with us.
Rest assured, I’ve carefully selected a special venue that aligns with the energy and intention of the event, creating a sacred space for our collective experience.
What happens after booking?
After booking your spot, you’ll receive a detailed welcome email providing you with helpful hints and tips to ensure you’re well prepared for the brand shoot experience. It will include a ‘Getting to know you’ form that allows me to learn more about you and your specific vision for the images you’d like to capture during our mini session at the event.
Additionally, the email will include a tick list of items to bring for the circle, ensuring you have everything you need to fully immerse yourself in this magickal experience.
What if I need to cancel?
I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise and sympathise with any need to cancel. However, please note that the cancellation policy is strict, and unfortunately, I’m unable to provide refunds.
