World Wildlife Day: 3rd March 2023

Keep scrolling for my celebration of World Wildlife Day 2023!

You’re part of this too you know. And there’s a reason why.

There’s a good reason why I’m known for being a light chaser and wild woman with a camera. Why I’m passionate about building a sustainable business and living in tune with the seasons.

Because nature is integral to who I am, to who we all are. I believe life is cyclical and that we’re all part of nature’s great tapestry.

Growing up and now living by the sea in Ramsgate, the coast, sea and the wild are a big part of who I am. This intrinsic love led me to study geography at university. And over the pandemic, I was able to undertake some Masters study remotely with the University of the Westfjords in Iceland in Marine Protected Areas.

While my studies have brought depth to my knowledge and understanding of nature, photography is what has taken me truly into the wild and see it through a different lens.

Through my camera, I’ve been able to see and capture connections between people, places and some of the wonderful beings our planet is home to. And which we’re lucky enough to coexist alongside.

Nature is beautiful. When you stop long enough to notice, her magic, her power and her almost unbelievable creativity is beyond anything you’ll ever experience.

In celebration of World Wildlife Day on 3 March, I’m sharing a curated selection of wild moments with nature for you to enjoy. From seeing an arctic fox in the rain in Iceland, a black bear snacking on grass in Canada, to a pod of dolphins flank our ferry on the way to Skye, each of these moments leaves me in awe.

Visit Print Shop

Print Shop is an online collection of images, curated from moments in nature shot across the world.

They are printed on sustainably sourced papers at the UK's first carbon negative lab, ordered online and delivered directly to your door.

I donate 10% of the Print Shop profit to Marine Conservation Society.

Do you have a wildlife project you need shooting?

I am always happy to travel for wildlife photography projects - drop me an email & let's chat about how we can bring this to life.

Big love,

Rebecca
