I recently had the pleasure of working with House of PERDON. A perfume odyssey crafted by Dona Hasanaj, who asked me to visually capture the essence or her new creations. 

Guided by a profound spiritual connection and an unyielding spirit, Dona found solace and inspiration in the transformative power of scent, which led her to create a signature collection of three energy-aligned fragrances. Thanks to the harmony of Dona’s messaging and her beautifully crafted narrative, the experience of the shoot and the visuals was breathtaking – for both of us. It was so insanely powerful. I felt drawn to share our journey with you and the reasons why I believe the results were so powerful.

At the House of PERDON fragrance is a powerful narrative of endurance, possibility and realised dreams. PERDON is more than a fragrance and this was rooted at the heart of our shoot. 

Dona wanted the images to evoke an invitation. For people to explore their potential, connect with their senses, embark on a journey of possibility and convey a place where the power of scent meets the essence of your being. Whether they seek strength, sensuality or a sense of home, PERDON is all about having the freedom to choose and explore the awakening within.

Dona believes fragrance should be about how you FEEL. Connecting you with your senses and the essence of your TRUTH. 

It was the most gorgeous brief, a delicious vision I was eager to capture. Here’s how we brought this narrative to life visually.  

Setting the stage for aligned visibility – brand photography and content strategy:

From the very beginning and the start of our conversations together, Dona approached the project with a unique perspective. Instead of the approach where the desired visuals take the lead, we embarked on a journey where her story and messaging led the way. 

This departure proved to be a breath of fresh air. Allowing the creation of a narrative that wasn’t just visually striking, but emotionally resonant. It meant Dona’s incredible story could be front and centre with the imagery conveying the feelings of love, loss and desire.
