Big muse energy: Capturing Claire Diane’s transformative spirit
Claire Diane is a force of nature. A true Expansion Mentor and Somatic Alchemist who embodies BIG MUSE ENERGY. Her work unleashes women who are done playing small, empowering them to step boldly into their power and own their magic. Over the years, I’ve had the soul soaring joy of working with Claire, every brand shoot evolves to reflect her energy, her vision, and the transformation she offers her clients.
This time, her brand shoot vision called for boldness and drama. An editorial aesthetic that amplifies her energy and how we got to play within that liminal space. From direct flash to textured grain, we went on a creative journey to bring her magick to life. In this post, I’ll share how we co-created this powerful series of images and explore why bold storytelling matters in branding.
The vision behind the shoot
Claire wanted this brand shoot to embody BIG MUSE ENERGY. A fusion of confidence, playfulness, and unapologetic boldness. She envisioned an editorial feel, full of texture and light, that captured the essence of the work she does as an Expansion Mentor. For me, it was about alchemising her brand vision into visual storytelling. Using light, composition, and mood to bring her energy into every frame.
Translating energy into visuals
Editorial style with an edge
To achieve the editorial aesthetic Claire craved, I used direct flash to create sharp, dramatic contrasts and embraced grainy textures that evoke emotion. This approach mirrored the bold, transformative energy she brings to her coaching and mentorship. Each frame feels alive with her essence, empowered, vibrant, and magnetic.

What made this brand shoot particularly special was the collaboration. Claire and I have worked together over many years, and this trust allowed us to push boundaries and experiment. Every detail, from her wardrobe to the lighting choices, was a reflection of her energy and her mission to inspire women to take up space and radiate their full power.

The setting: The Margate Beach House

Its beautifully curated interiors almost felt like a co-creator, calling us to see how we could use the space to amplify Claire’s energy. The soft natural light pouring through the arched windows highlighted her radiant presence, while the tactile, organic textures of the space added depth to the imagery. Shooting here wasn’t just about aesthetics. It was about creating a space where Claire could fully embody her power and step into her muse energy.
The house’s versatile spaces allowed us to move from bold, editorial-style visuals to softer, intimate moments with ease. The energy of the location matched the vision for the shoot – expansive, confident, and unapologetically Claire.
Artisan details: Ruby Jack jewellery
A highlight of this brand photography shoot was Claire’s collaboration with Ruby Jack, whose handmade artisan jewellery brought an extra layer of intentionality and beauty to the visuals. Each piece felt like an extension of Claire’s energy, catching the light and adding an element of elegance and raw creativity.

Our friend and visionary Amy, founder of Temple of the Feminine, joined us to capture some beautiful behind-the-scenes moments.
