Dane Park – Locations in Thanet for Branding Photography
The Isle of Thanet is known for its endless beaches and is a beautiful place to have your branding photos. Sometimes people ask me if there are any woods or green spaces that we could look to as a shoot location in Thanet. There are a few areas with wooded greenery here. One of those spaces is the incredible Dane Park in Margate.
With avenues of trees and large greens, Dane Park has a beautiful mix of backdrops for a shoot. It has some ornamental gates, a fountain (though it wasn’t flowing when I was there!) a football pitch, basketball court, bowls green, kids play area, cafe and the north side of the park is lined with a beautiful redbrick wall too.
Seasonality will change how Dane Park looks throughout the year
With these caught in early autumn, the leaves were just turning at Dane Park. You can see that it will look pretty different once winter arrives.
I’d never realised quite how close Dane Park is to the sea. It was only when I flew the drone to capture these images, that I realised just how close the sea was to Dane Park. It is always possible to weave in a mix of locations when shooting in Thanet. This is because of the diversity of parks, urban spaces and coastline that we have here.
